I do not know anything about business, but something is for sure – I want to invest in something that will not cost me so much money, time, and effort in getting my money back. Period. I know it sounds simple and crazy. It is my first time to invest in a business and I better make it work because this is all the money I have got, my first and last chance to do something worthwhile with the money my Dad left as bequest.

I thought hard of what fellow college students would go for, something they would consider necessity. When I couldn’t figure it out, I asked myself – there you go! Full laundry service. I know they already have their own Laundromats, or laundry service may even be included in their board and lodging fees. But I knew this would work.

Before opening business, I informed classmates and friends about my new venture. I knew that was not enough so I had posters and handouts. Aside from that, I built a free website that my friend referred to me through Wix.com. He said he had his photography services a hit through the same.

And so I did, and boy, was it really trouble-free with its straightforward instructions. Not only that – the guide was so helpful that I managed to project a professional laundry service with the way the photos, the information and the music were sorted out. My laundry service website looks like a thousand dollar investment, when it is totally for free.

Not only are my schoolmates my regular clients now, but these residents who live blocks away too. Amazing technology by Wix.com!
